IW-BTA250-KIT Wireless In-Wall Amplifier

Earthquake Sound is proud to introduce its first wireless in-wall amplifier: The IW-BTA250. Staying true to Earthquake’s legacy, the IW-BTA250 packs flexibility, power and control all into one small discrete package.

This 2-channel stereo amplifier can accept signal through the front panel 3.5mm stereo mini jack and via Bluetooth® connection. With the provided 24 VDC power supply and cable adapter, the IW-BTA250 can produce 50 Watts RMS per channel at 4-Ohm. For added convenience, the IW-BTA250 also features a front mounted volume control knob.

Designed to fit in most standard single-gang junction box, the IW-BTA250 can be easily installed in any new or pre-existing constructions (home, bar, restaurants, etc.).

IW-BTA250-Kit can be connected to Amazon’s Alexa

Pairing your Echo to a Bluetooth device is pretty easy to do:

  1. First put your Bluetooth speaker into pairing mode.
  2. Open up the Alexa app > Settings > tap your Echo device name > Bluetooth > Pair a New Device.
  3. Once your Bluetooth speaker shows up within the app, tap it to connect and wait for Alexa to confirm the pairing is successful.

Amazon recommends placing the Bluetooth device at least 3 feet (1m) away from the Echo so that there's no interference. "When the Echo device is close to external speakers, it may be more difficult for Alexa to hear the wake word and other requests," Amazon says on its support page.
