ME-320-DSP Plateamp

The all new ME-320-DSP is the amp used in the MiniMe DSP Subwoofers. It utilizes Earthquake’s advanced class “D” circuitry with over 90% efficiency plus the added benefits of DSP control through mobile devices. Professional room tuning is now made possible right through a mobile app allowing the user to dial in the sub exactly to the room that it is placed in. In order to optimize sound and clarity on a subwoofer, it must be tuned properly to its environment. Through an automated room correction process that the iWoofer™ Pro app offers, you will get the customized performance that you deserve and achieve the maximum amount of SPL and a more linear response for your home theater. Up to a 48dB/octave crossover is also available within the application for a steep frequency cutoff. The ME-320-DSP is based on the same metal plate and hole pattern as the amps used in the MiniMe-P8-V2 and DSP so it is the perfect replacement of an old plate amp or a great update to get the new DSP features. The amplifier is built around Earthquakes Evolved Class D amplifier technology. It uses an efficient and low frequency optimized PWM switching output - resulting in exceptional powerful control over even large and heavy woofers. The amplifier is equipped with 4 high ampere discrete transistors for high and continuous current. No cheap monolith output modules here. The oversized Evolved Class D amplifier has an efficiency of 90% which means that the amplifier does not get hot even with hard and continuous operation. This unique class D design distinguishes itself with high performance and superb bass control. Even the most complex source material is reproduced with precision. The power supply is based on Earthquakes Triple Triangle Constant Power Transfer Technology. It is an advanced industrial switch mode power supply technology, inherited from Earthquakes military power supplies. It guarantees constant high performance even with heavy loads, all with minimal power loss and heat generation.
